Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences

 

The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (FAMS) was established in 2000. There are 53 faculty members teaching in 9 different disciplines; Allied Dental Sciences, Dental Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology and Speech Pathology, Optometry, Radiologic Technology, and Paramedics.

FAMS is always engaged in various academic and community activities such as seminars, workshops, one-day scientific days, one-day field demonstrations, and community outreach. Additionally, many fruitful relationships have been initiated with various local, regional, and international institutes.

FAMS is looking to be a regional pioneer faculty in education and research. Currently, the faculty is thriving to meet the quality standards of international education in the health professions. Also, the faculty has extensive partnership with local, regional, and international institutions.
